Design
A perfect balance of heritage and innovation, the PH Bow Grand Piano is unlike any other in the world. It is inspired by organic arcs and curves found in nature, and combines the best of tradition with a depth of imagination and understanding of the most exquisite instrument.
The Danish designer Poul Henningsen created this piano design in 1937, and today we have the sole rights to produce all of Henningsen's piano designs. The PH Bow Grand Piano bears resemblance to the Sydney Opera House, an architectural masterpiece designed by fellow Danish designer, Jørn Utzon.
Exquisite Materials
The action of the PH Bow Grand Piano sits inside a stunning wooden case with black lacquer and metal accents, finished with gloss that brilliantly displays the warm, sublime beauty of the wood grain. On the top of the instrument, four layers of curved veneered wood ‘waves’ compose the surface of the lid.
Inside and out, the PH Bow Grand is made from the finest European materials, including a soundboard of European Spruce. Skilled artisanal craftspeople have meticulously assembled the PH Bow Grand Piano to ensure a superior sound quality that will be enjoyed for generations to come.
